Deliverance is the process of setting one free from the forces from the kingdom of darkness. Once upon a time, man was created, Adam and Eve, they were created in the image of God with power, dominion and kingdom authority to rule and reign upon the earth. When they sinned, they exchanged their glory for filthy rags and the prince of darkness snatched from them their power, dominion and he became the prince of this world. He hates mankind and will oppress and suppress through – stealing, killing and destroying.

He has no shame about it because he knows that he is now a defeated foe. Why has he been defeated? Because Jesus Christ came to this earth in the form of a human being to satisfy the law of sin and death, to silence Satan the accuser by providing means in which he could protect us and within this new protected spiritual location, Jesu could then restore to mankind all that we lost and all that He has planned for each one of us. Not just when we go to heaven, this restoration begins now here on earth. By faith we pursue, reclaim, recover, take over and walk in power, dominion and authority. Deliverance is the process in which we gain back our rightful position through pour new spiritual location – Jesus Christ.

It involves being shifted from the realm of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light and that which pertains to light.

When it was going to of flood, God told Noah to build an ark because there was going to be a destructive flood that would destroy everything that was not found in the ark. The Ark was a place of safety during a worldwide deliverance that was to take place. Noah and his family were physically relocated from the realm outside of the ark and they were placed inside the ark. Then the winds came and the rains came down and the floods caused destruction of everything else that was not located in the ark. When God wants to take you away from an environment (spiritually) that is contrary to his thoughts and  plans for your future, He must first place you in a different location.

That new location of safety is none than in Jesus Christ, the place of safety. This is a spiritual location in Jesus Christ and it occurs when you give your heart and life to Jesus Christ and ask Him to take full control. Once this is done, he then cleans and clears all the spiritual, diabolical filth around you. When a prophet is ministering to you, he brings with him the place of safety and refuge, by virtue of his presence and the grace of God around him. He can then facilitate the spiritual separation of you from the unwholesome covenants, devices, and everything emanating from the kingdom of darkness.

The children of Israel were delivered from bondage as slaves in the land of Egypt and were set free to go to the promised land by the hand of God through Moses. Similarly, God may facilitate your deliverance through a deliverance minister who contends with Pharaoh on your behalf by the power of God in order for you and all that pertains to you is set free. 

Deliverance is not only for you but your family will also experience the benefits of your deliverance.

HOW DELIVERANCE OCCURS;

It may take one session to receive full deliverance, however, at times you may get deliverance regarding various aspects of your life at different times. When Jesus was delivering people, at times it was instant, at times there was an altercation with the kingdom of darkness resisting and it was not immediate. Mary Magdalene had deliverance 12 times before she was free. When the disciples failed to cast out an evil spirit from a young boy who kept convulsing, Jesus then went to cast out the spirit and initially the spirit threw the boy down and he convulsed, after which it left. Jesus did not have any conversation with this demon, however, when delivering the demoniac who had legion, he talked to the demons. Every case is unique! The spirit of God thus leads the deliverance minister accordingly to deliver his child from the kingdom of darkness.
